my second summer living on the east coast
a great bunch at the beach
wild ponies at assateague state park where we camped and threw ourselves into the huge waves...and were promptly thrown right back out again.
housesitting for the summer turned into hostessing a few fun dinner parties - breakfast for dinner was a common theme
spent some time practicing the two songs i know on the piano...but branched out and taught myself a few more.
danced on national dance day with albert einstein
yes. biking is better in bathing suits and with bethany.
played on The Nature Conservancy's softball team. the best part about it was the low expectations everyone had for me...so when i actually did anything well i was a hero.
what about bob? weekend. we brought along our own gills.
megan had a special bond with her gill. mike took his wakeboarding. christian had a hard time bonding with his and becca loved to introduce hers to everyone. they're all dead now, unfortunately. (the gills, not my friends)

orcas island in Washington state with Uncle Scott's family. i loved it! and it was so fun to see two of my sisters, caroline and tamra.
i also laughed my hair off apparently because i seem to be bald in this picture. i had just swam across the lake with courtney and this is what i looked like. yikes.
i love my family! mom, bj, and brody came too so there was a strong Prince contingency.

my little bubba is growing up to be such a great young man. and even though his expression suggests that he is annoyed by me, it just so happens i'm his favorite aunt.
i attended a lot of fun birthday parties with great themes - "ahoy captain!"
and a "i had a crush on Mike and all i got was this t-shirt" party.
watched airplanes land and take off at reagan international airport.
had a great (long-awaited) visit with audrey and charmaine. look at how happy we are to be together again and eating hell burgers.
my visit to seattle also included a wonderful week with jenny, jeff and wes. they couldn't stop cooking great things to share with me.
and this little bub junior is my favorite summer memory....i need you wesley!!!
(more about my seattle trip to come :)

love you!
Wow! Looks like you didn't waste a minute of summer!!
Yay for DC!
love your post. you look like the poster child for fun.
I love your favorite summer memory - Wes looks so laid back and all grown up! He actually called me all by himself yesterday on Jenny's cell phone - he had to unlock the phone and must have accidentally pushed the last call button, and he knew it was me. Hi Mémé....
can't wait for your next visit!
Love you!
Jane, you had a jam packed summer! So glad you managed to squeeze in a trip to Ballard. And Pat, Wes calls me all the time. ;)
